Details of the featured presentation and demo: Powering Up Companies – Implementing Power BI and Power Apps into your organizations
Power BI is an incredible tool, but implementing it into large organizations can often be a daunting task – especially as it relates to converting existing reports, introducing new processes, establishing data management/governance, and building trust throughout the organization.
David will begin the presentation by walking through the journey of how the BI team at WSP introduced Power BI, the challenges they faced, and how it is now being used by employees across the country.
Power Apps is a tool growing in popularity and allows users to make applications with no coding required. It is also able to connect with Power BI and SharePoint to create integrated dashboard solutions providing write-back functionality.
Michael will finish the presentation by presenting some of the tools he created using Power Apps, things to keep-in-mind, and (if time permits) a demo creating a sample application.
